Applications for individual mobility funding are open until 31 January.
Mobility funding is available for individual professional practitioners of art and culture in the Nordic and Baltic region: professional artists and cultural workers, such as curators, producers, literary translators, cultural editors, and researchers, in all artistic and cultural fields, with documented work experience and/or education in the artistic or cultural field. Duration: up to 14 days.
The mobility is funded under the Nordic-Baltic mobility programme "Culture". The aim of the programme is to promote the exchange of knowledge, contacts, and interest in Nordic and Baltic arts and culture and to strengthen Nordic-Baltic cooperation in the field of arts and culture.
Last year, the total amount of support granted for individual mobility applications from Latvia was €47'255.
Last year, a total of more than 30 grants were awarded for creative mobility. The recipients were Laine Kristberga, Pēteris Vaickovskis, Jānis Kurševs, Ieva Putniņa, Mārtiņš Miļevskis, Līga Spunde, Normunds Ķirsis, Laima Jaunzema, Agate Pooka, Agnese Pauniņa, Krišjānis Sants, Rihards Efeja-Lībietis, Aksels Kaulakāns, Elīna Vītola, Toms Burāns, Katrīna Dūka, Mētra Saberova, Ilze Vēze-Balode, Laura Šterna, Agnese Krivade, Iveta Pole, Ieva Niedre, Ance Strazda, Paula Pļavniece, Klāvs Mellis, Reinis Boters, Āris Matesovičs, Anna Ulberte, Jette Loona Hermanis, Katrīna Neiburga, Karīna Zeļonka, Martina Buhagiar, Enigma Atholde, Niko Blūmane, Lilita Dunska, Ance Pudāne, Ingūna Levša, Laima Jaunzema, and Ieva Jakuša.
Applicants are required to create a user account on the Nordic Culture Point’s application portal, where an online application is submitted. The application must also contain an invitation or letter of intent in English, as well as the name of the hosting organisation in the Nordic country, a contact person, and a short description of the trip plan.
